Ashdon Baptist Church

Who we are 

We are a community of Christians living in the village of Ashdon in Essex, UK. and the surrounding area. Our aim is to serve the Lord and the community in which we live as we worship God and witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

The church is affliiated to the Easter Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain and through it to the Baptist World Alliance. We support world mission through BMS World Mission. Our Link mission personnel are Pete & Lizz Maycock and their children, Abi & Jacob who work in Thailand.

What We Do

We meet for worship every Sunday at 10.30am.and at other times.

A Toddlers & Babies Club meets on Monday mornings. 

We run a Lunch Club for Senior Citizens.

We hold regular Bible Studies with our Anglican friends.

We have a Mid-week Fellowship.

The Chapel Choir meets regularly and prepares for special occasions

How to find us

From Cambridge, take the A1307 towards Haverhill. Soon after Linton turn right at the Bartlow Crossroads into Bartlow. At the crossroads in Bartlow village turn right towards Ashdon - 2 miles. Entering Ashdon, take the second left at the Rose & Crown into Radwinter Road. The Baptist Chapel is about 300 meters on the left. The Chapel car park is another 100 meters on the right.

From Saffron Walden take the Ashdon Road at the top of the Common. On entering Ashdon continue down the hill to the Rose & Crown and turn right into Radwinter Road and folow as above.
